HECI- (pronounced Heh-see) is a Human (Readable) Equipment Catalog Identifier which is a field in the TIRKS® Provisioning System. The field is populated with a CLEI code. HECI and CLEI are interchangeable, it means the same thing. Bell Operating Company employees will say they need a HECI code, give them the CLEI code of the equipment. HECIG- (pronounced Heh-sig) is a truncated HECI code. Example: If the HECI/CLEI code is STGSISN1RA Then, the HECIG would be STGSISN1
